Wedding season is in FULL swing so today i’m tackling one of my my most requested posts “What to Wear to a Summer Wedding”. We have a couple weddings on our calendar so today i’m sharing over 100 Wedding Guest Dresses with you girls. I’ve rounded up a TONS of cute dresses (at all price points) for whatever type of wedding you may have coming up. Formal, Semi-Formal, Casual/Daytime, I’ve got you girls covered!
I love weddings and swear it has been forever since the hubby and have been to one together. With two little ones under six I feel like one of us always ends up hanging back to watch the kids. So needless to say I am beyond excited for two we have coming up this year… so let’s talk dresses!
If you’re going for flirty and feminine, this Lilac Midi Dress is a dream! I usually tend to gravitate toward darker colors but this one just looked so ladylike and fun to wear. It’s seriously perfect for a daytime semi formal wedding.
Semi-Formal
This is probably the most common of the wedding dress codes, and you can do anything from a lacey mini, to a sheer maxi or off the shoulder midi. Here are some more of my favorite semi-formal dress options….
Formal
For more Black Tie or Formal weddings, I love any extra detail or something dramatic like floor length with a slit. As mentioned above we don’t really get to dress up that often so when we do have something formal to go to I LOVE to get a little more dramatic. It’s great chance to rock something you typically wouldn’t wear. The dresses i’m wearing in today’s post are by Dress the Population and I swear they make the BEST special occasion dresses (this post isn’t sponsored) I just seriously love their pieces. The lilac midi dress above is perfect for a daytime wedding / semi formal wedding and the long black formal length one is so fun for a formal event. I can’t get enough of the 3D detail which is something I haven’t seen a ton of and just thought it was so unique and fun! Here are a few more of my favorite formal options…..
Daytime
Whether it’s a Casual wedding or something Daytime or Beachy, I looove all of these pretty options. Bonus most of these dresses can be worn again for several other occasions too!
Under $100
and of course I had to share some budget friendly options for you girls! Here are some great wedding guest dress picks that won’t break the bank….
Heels
Weddings always help me to step outside of my practical comfort zone and go with something a little more fun. I’m obsessed with lucite heels right now and splurged on This Pair a couple months ago and now they’re on SALE in both the blush and the black color. They’re surprisingly comfortable and love that I can wear them for date nights too. Weddings are also a great time to switch up your neutrals for metallics or going with something fun like a wrap up ankle strap sandal. I bought This Pair earlier this Spring and receive so many compliments on them. Now if you just can’t break away from your practical shoe purchase This Pair is seriously the best budget friendly nude ankle strap i’ve ever purchased (i’m wearing them above with my lilac dress and they come in black as well).
Accessories
I’m all about sleek clutches, simple wallet chain bags and some fun statement earrings to pull the look together
Okay I hope this was helpful for you girls and happpppy Friday!
