8 Trends You Girls Need to See for Fall 2020

While it might not feel like it here in SoCal, I know some of you girls are starting to experience fall weather where you live (and even some snow…crazy!!). You know I can’t help but to get into the fall spirit ASAP so I’ve already scoured for the Best of Fall 2020 and am just sweating through the hot weather over here…

In the meantime, I wanted to call out the main six trends I’m into for Fall 2020 which I’m sharing below! Lots more to come in the lookbook but wanted to share some early trends first

Dramatic Cardigans

Chunky, longggg, cropped, big buttons, bell sleeves- cardigans are bringing the drama this year and I’m here for it! I especially love the longer length- from midi to floor-length- and the cardigans that can be worn as a statement piece (like this ribbed version!).

Leather Everything

Leather jackets are always a Fall staple but this season it’s looking like leather everything! Loving the button down shirts, bodysuits, skirts and high waist pants!  I have worn these leather pants for years (and they were just restocked this season).

 Hiking Boots

Combat boots are back this year and we’re also seeing TONS of chunky hiking-style boots. I’m including several different varieties below depending on if you girls like more of the sleek everyday style or want to more of a hiking book…

Statement Sweaters

Balloon Sleeves and Strong Shoulders

More drama in the sleeve department and I’m really into this one! The bell sleeves give a fun flirty touch to anything from a sweatshirt to a dress and I’m into the muscle-tank-inspired look and strong shoulders (eyeing this $35 pick).

Angled Heeled Booties

This is a fun touch on booties this season! I always like to spend a little more on my boots because quality usually makes a huge difference in comfort, but I did find a couple that aren’t too hard on the wallet…

Flannel Jackets

I’ve been rocking this one for a couple years now but this season they are officially everywhere! They’re the easiest way to elevate your everyday basics and so cozy too. There are some really good ones out right now so here are a few of my favorites…

Utility Jumpsuits

and last but not least, you girls know I’m always game for a tomboy look and these jumpsuits are a playful way to add a little edge to your wardrobe this fall. Wear with heels to add a girlier touch but they’d also be cool with sneakers for everyday wear.
