After almost 7 months of being in our new home, I’m slowly checking off room tours of our new house! I’m so sorry for the delay but furniture being back ordered and trying to find all the last minute touches seemed to take forever. Honestly I just really wanted it to be completely (completely) done before I started sharing pics and I feel like we’re FINALLY there! I shared our Kitchen Reveal, My Makeup Vanity, Ava’s Room and today I’m sharing tons of snaps of Luca’s big boy room!
I’m truly in love with just about every inch of our new space but have to say Luca’s room is definitely one of my favorites. There’s just something about a little boys room that was so fun to create!
One of my most asked questions on Instagram is probably about Luca’s wall mural and it’s definitely one of my favorite things about his room. My designer (RAILICAdesign) suggested it and as soon as I saw this picture of the California coastline, I knew it was it! I wanted something that he could grow with over the years and this one seemed like the perfect fit. We got ours from MagicMurals.com but I’ve linked some favorites below from several different websites that are carrying these fun wallpaper styles. (I LOVE that action figure captioned one below-So fun!)
Bedside Essentials
His yellow lamps are from School House but sadly sold out now – I’ve linked some similar for less below.
And what big boy’s room is complete without a fun bean bag chair (that doubles as a landing pad. 😉
Floating shelves are a fun way to organize his favorite books and toys (just be warned they rarely stay this organized). 😉
We went with all black hardware and LOVED how it turned out!
MINTED honestly has the best picture selection. We have used several of their pictures and art throughout the house (I’ll do a full home art post for you girls soon) but here are a few favorites I really love for a boys room…
And lastly, for his bath, we wanted a larger size white square tile with matte black hexagon tiles for the floors and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
And that’s Luca’s new big boy room! Hope you guys enjoyed his little tour 😉 and stay tuned for more home posts to come (finally!).
Everything came out really great!! Would you mind sharing both of the tile info? Thank you!!

I just started my little boy’s “big boy room” too. This turned out great! Would you mind sharing source for bedding? It looks so soft and like something he can grow with or you could add new accessories to the room to change the look.
