Sorry again for the middle of the afternoon post but its an ongoing juggling act over here trying to find that balance between mom duties, house duties, blogging, my needy hubby;) and a little me time. So here we go with today’s post…
If you follow me on Instragram (@andeelayne) you probably saw I went to LA on Friday night with my fellow mamas! We went to dinner at the cutest spot called The Church Key!
The decor and food we’re great and the scene was super lively! I’d definitely go back!
We’re suckers for a good cocktail and they definitely have some fun options! I’ll take the third one down 😉
and of course when a waitress shows up in a Pam Am uniform and cart making frozen shots we had to test them out!
Ummm and thank goodness I was wearing a crop top and tight pants because these doughnuts (warm and buttery straight from the oven) would have sent me straight back to the hotel in my jama’s! lol
I stopped after a couple bites but these were riiiidiculous!
We stayed at the SLS. I’ve posted on this hotel before and highly recommend checking it out if you’re in LA. Its just such a fun and unique place!

Then we had brunch at a beautiful new vegan mexican restaurant, Gracias Madre on Melrose.
Its a beautiful restaurant that just opened up and who knew vegan mexican food would be soooo yummy?! Ps their margaritas are pretty amazing as well!

and then there’s the mothers guilt 😉 I always have to bring home some sweet treats for my loves! This time I figured we should try out Gerogetown Cupcakes. I wouldn’t say they’re better than Sprinkles or Crumbs but tasty non the less!
As you can see Ava was not disappointed with her Georgetown Cupcake 😉

Looks so fun! You always find the best and hottest spots. That restaurant looks incredible, love the waitress!
So jealous that you have such a nice vegan Mexican restaurant near by! I'm super deprived of any good Mexican places out here in Hawaii. BTW you daughter is sooooo adorable. Love love love the curls!
