Thank you AKG Audio for sponsoring this post #AKGPartner
If you girls follow along with us on insta stories you probably saw that the hubby and I did a little date night in LA recently that was SO much fun. It can be a little hard to motivate him to get out of the house for a fancy dinner, but he was all-in with this date night because it involved checking out the new 2021 Cadillac Escalade (he’s alwaysss down for anything cars) and all its new features including the first-ever in-vehicle professional-grade sound system from AKG Audio. It was such an incredible event that we felt Cadillac pulled out all the stops for. It was a whole red carpet experience and was even hosted by Spike Lee which was awesome. If you’re like us and officially entering the ‘we need a third row’ car stage, you’ll definitely want to see the pics in today’s post!
isn’t she gorg?!
I’d be lying if I said checking out the 2021 Escalade wasn’t the hubs’ favorite part of the night. Between carpooling and all the kids’ stuff for school, activities and playdates, we definitely need more space. Safe to say we are in love with this SUV and that the new Escalade did not disappoint. There’s so much space for the littles (even the Sport version has great legroom in the third row if you do want something slightly more compact)!
Some grown-up features for me and my car-obsessed husband include it being the first vehicle with a professional-grade sound system by AKG Audio. This sound system is crazyyyy! AKG thought of everything when designing this system specifically for Cadillac. They strategically placed the speakers in the SUV to be sure music would sound exactly how the artist intended it and like it’s coming straight from a professional studio. AKG also included what’s called Vehicle Noise Compensation or VNC, which automatically increases the volume during common road work to drown out that noise. And that’s just a few features of this sound system – you’ve got to go check it out for yourself!
It also has navigation rendering which is perfect for me when I’m toting the kiddos around from a party to practice and everything in between. I truly have to say that Cadillac outdid themselves with this new Escalade, as did AKG when they decked it out and it was such a fun night out for us. Yes, this post is sponsored but honestly we will probably be getting one of these when they come out this Fall!
