Happy Friday Babes! Today i’m sharing a few random shots via the Camera Roll and Instagram lately! (My normal Forever Friday picks will be up later this weekend) So here we go…..
I celebrated my birthday a few weeks ago and wanted thank you again for all the bday love on instagram! I think once you have babies (and ehhh hmmm are over 30 😉 birthdays aren’t really that big of a deal anymore. With that being said my family and friends made it so special anyway. We celebrated at home with my babes and lots of amazing chocolate cake (If you’re local Susie Cakes in Newport makes the best damn cakes in OC!) What else could you ask for?!
The best gifts evvvver! I shared a little video on instagram of Ava singing me Happy Birthday and it COMPLETELY melts me! (ps little sleepy man was up way past his bed time)
The hubs gave me the BEST birthday gift ever… a kid free spa day! Holla! This is the view from the spa pool! Seriously so blessed to live in such an amazing place!
The hubs arranged for bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries (how freakin’ sweet is he?!)A girlfriend joined me and letssss just say we made it an all day event. It’s funny we were talking about how after I had Ava I went for a spa day and as soon as the treatment was over I booked it home because I felt itch to get back to her….well fast forward to baby #2 and lets just say we were a bit more relaxed and took FULL advantage of a kid free afternoon. lol
Even though I was feeling mellow for this years bday, my girlfriends still wanted to celebrate… So me and 5 of my best girls rallied up to LA for dinner and bubbly up in the club 😉

The reality is my life isn’t always picture perfect. I definitely feel so blessed but i’ve said it before.. instagram and blogs are just high light reels. My house is in complete chaos most of the days, dishes are forever piled up and I deal with toddler melt downs on the regular too. It took forever for me to get on SnapChat because lets be honest I didn’t think I needed ANOTHER social media outlet but I really like the rawness of it. There’s no editing or filtering really. I’ve been sharing more of our daily snippets on there and this amazing living room shot above was from yesterdays post. 😉 I share some of my workout snaps, meals, daily stuff with the kiddos and random fashion stuff too. I haven’t really figured out all the ins and outs of it but just post randomly. The only down side is I don’t think there ‘s really a way to interact with you guys on there right? I do like instagram for that sense that I can comment back and forth with you all pretty easily (and check out your accounts as well) but snap chat maybe lets you get to know me a little better and isn’t a “polished” as instagram. Anyhow just some thoughts and would love to hear what you guy think about it and what you’d like to see more of on there? (You can find me on there under AndeeLayne)
Just another day at Tarjay! If you girls are looking for a shopping cart cover this ONE has been great! It fits all the carts at the various shopping spots and we also use it at restaurants. I like the little hooks we put toys on to distract him and also like that the pillow is removable.
Watch out this little man is on the move! He’s starting to stand up and hold on to things now too! (help me 😉

Those cut out sandals are beautiful! Must have in my closet! I'm also very excited for fall. Between the weather in Texas being slightly cooler in the mornings and all the fall decor in stores I'm ready to jump right into it.
