Honeybee Home // Ava’s Big Girl Room Inspo

Happy Saturday friends! I hope you all are having a great weekend so far. We stopped by our new home yesterday to check the progress  and I can’t believe we are going to be moving in just a few months!!! We are so excited but i’m not going to lie a bit anxious as well. We still have SO much to do! A lot of you expressed interest on a previous post about wanting me to do room by room inpso posts for you girls. So in today’s post i’m sharing some major big girl room inspo and all the ideas were loving for Ava’s new room!

I have to say I am probably most excited about Ava’s room! Maybe that’s why i’m starting this inspo series with her room first 😉  It’s a space that I want to be free, fun and super playful! I have so many ideas i’m excited to share and mainly because I get to be a little more over the top with kiddos rooms 😉

I definitely want some sort of little cozy corner for her and love the idea of a cozy chair and a really cool pendant light!

This is probably my #1 inspo shot for Ava’s room. I think it may be someone apartment but non the less it’s giving me all kinds of ideas for Ava’s room. I really had my hopes set on doing a really cool chandlier like the one above but we just realized Ava has a crazy high vaulted ceiling in her room so I don’t think it is going to work out. I love the neon sign and am so excited to put one in Ava’s room. We also know we definitely want to do some really dramatic and fun wall paper but we are still debating on the wall by her bed or something really fun and different maybe on her ceiling. (ps love that chandelier in the pic above!)

I really love these dark floral wall papers but have been seeing them more and more lately so I may try to look for something else. If you have an favorites sites or spots for fun wall paper please share! xo

This Wallpaper Print is really fun too (but I know Ava will probably be more excited for something a little more girly so to be continued 😉

I love this whole vibe!

This pic was one of my main sources of inspo for the tile, fixtures and lighting we picked out for Ava’s bathroom that I can wait to see come together! I’m so so in love with this!

We are going to be getting Ava a new bed because I feel like the “sleepover stages” are upon us and I think a trundle bed for her will definitely come in handy. I also really love how this bed is pushed all the way against the wall and there’s so much open space for her to play. I’m hoping to recreate something like this in A’s room. Mama’s if you have any tips or advice on trundle beds feel free to share!

Lastly I would love to surprise Ava with a cute and fun simple style vanity like this one. Every morning she comes in my room and plops down at my little makeup station to put on some lipstick (aka clear chapstick 😉 I know she would go nuts for something like this!
