I’ve been dying to try Tom Fords new lipsticks but can not bring myself to spend $50 on one tube! In an attempt to satisfy my craving for Black Orchid (Tom Ford) lipstick I snagged Black Cherry by Revlon for around $7! 
I love a dark berry lip for Fall and have to say I am pleased with the results (esp at a drugstore price point). It did appear a bit darker in person than these pictures show.
I kept the rest of the look simple with some serious winged eyeliner (My favorite)
Products used:
Laura Mercier silk creme foundation, Mac MSF in cheeky , Mac moisture cover concealer in NW20, Mac nude liner in my water line, Mac brulee on lid and wedge in the crease, Nars albatross for highlight, Bobbi Brown gel liner, Revlon perfect peach blush, MUFE Smokey lash mascara and of course Revlon Black Cherry lipstick lined with Mac Bordeauxline lipliner.

I agree, $50 or £ for a lipstick is ridic! Who cares if its revlon, you look smokin' sista! 🙂 it actually brings your eye colour out more…pretty 🙂

I love this one too! I really liked how moisturizing it is. I think I got mine for $3.50 because it was half off…it looks lighter on you…maybe it's because I'm ghost white. lol.

Everytime I read a beauty post from you, I have to go out and get the products you featured! This lipstick is no different. I love red/berry lips for Fall and Winter. I think it's glam!
I feel like dark colours work well on people with either really dark (black) hair, or really light (bleach blonde) hair. Sadly, I can't pull off dark colours.

Love your look! I have a couple of Tom Ford lipsticks. They are nice but I don't know if they are worth $50. My favorites are Blush Nude for the perfect Nude lip and I do really enjoy Black Orchid. I like to wear Black Orchid as a stain. I have a lipstick by Bobbi Brown (the new formulation) that is very similar and is less costly. I may pick up another Tom Ford lipstick though since I have some gift cards at Sak!
This color looks great on you. I just got into red and fushia toned lipsticks. Unfortunately, I don't think I could pull this one off.
