The Best Beauty Splurge I Made This Year

I’ve been meaning to write a full blog post review on my fave hair splurge for months now and since several of you have been asking about it lately for your holiday wish lists, I wanted to get this post up for you. So let’s dive right in on why this product is hands down my favorite beauty splurge I made this year!

I’m sure most of my HB Fam probably already guessed it’s the Dyson Airwrap with how much I’ve talked about it on IG! I know it’s a splurge and the price point stings a little but hear me when i say it’s worth every penny!  I literally had it in my Nordstrom cart for probably over a year before I finally pulled the trigger. I kept reading so many awesome reviews and knew I had to try it. I started using it at the beginning of the year and honestly don’t know what I would do without it.

Mom life is all about anything that can be done in a hurry. Between the kiddos, home school life, work, a new puppy, and alllll the other things 2020 has thrown at us, I don’t have a ton of time to spend on getting ready (at least without the fam barging in). So one of the main things that appealed to me was that the Dyson Airwrap is a multi-tasker for blowdrying, styling, and giving volume all at once. I have been through tons of styling tools over the last two decades and have never seen a blowdryer dry my hair as quickly as this one does. The technology of Dyson is unlike any other on the market and you can see and feel the difference when you use it.

I typically like to rough dry my hair half way through then add on one of the brush attachments to fully dry and smooth out the rest. After it’s completely dry, I go in with the curling barrels to give my hair that smoothed out playful bounce with some effortless curls (the signature look you girls see here and most days in my IG stories). My hair doesn’t hold curl very well but I personally like mine styled less curly and more bouncy with a flip at the ends and the Dyson Airwrap gives that perfectly!

Secondly, as my hubby would tell you, I have wayyy too many products and gadgets laying around and was intrigued that the Dyson Airwrap could basically do all my styling with one machine. There are two different barrel sizes depending on how tight or loose you like your waves, and several brushes to use while blowdrying that can tame frizz and different types of hair. If you have longer hair like I do, I highly recommend ordering the longer attachment barrels as well.

Overall, it works so well comes with so many different attachments so you truly do feel like you’re getting more bang for your buck and you can feel the difference with the Dyson technology behind it. I know a lot of you girls have been asking if I suggest it and I definitely do for a splurge-worthy item to add to your Wish list! I know it’s a splurge but I do think it’s worth the money since it’s something I use several times a week and know it’ll last forever.
