It goes without saying that I have a bit of obsession when it comes to Halloweeeen! I love that you girls are so into it too so without further ado, here’s a (photo overload) post with how we decorated for Halloween this year!
Right now I’m all about that Chic Halloween Decor. Since Ava and Luca are so young still, I haven’t fully ventured into the creeeeepy Halloween stuff but I’m sure that new territory will be so fun in the years to come! Also, I have to say I am absolutely LOVING all your tags and mentions on Instagram! It’s so fun to see how all you girls recreate my bats and creep on all the fun decor you create too! (If you girls want some inspo too feel free to search our hashtag #HoneybeeFamHalloween on Instagram!
So for this year, I added a few new additions to last year’s decor like life-size skeletons, oversized spiders and (even they are a pain to do 😉 tons of webs!
Give us ALL the spider webs
In October we call this our….
Breakfast “BOO”th
I went a little extra with the spider webs in our breakfast nook this year and the kids LOVED it! So many of you asked about our neon BOO sign. It’s from a couple years ago but found a few places that still have it in stock and linked below.
The Uglier the Pumpkins the better!
While most people always search for the most perfectly shaped bright orange pumpkins – I feel like the darker and uglier the better! I especially love the green bumpy ones.
I was at Target the other day and scooped up those candlestick holders (such a steal and linked below)
Hocus Pocus
The sweetest little witch I ever did see!
(If you’re looking for some festive pieces to get your littles in the spirit, I shared a full post HERE)
You girls voted on them so the bats made their debut again!
The kids were counting down the days until I broke out the ladder to put them up again…but think the skeletons may have stolen the spotlight this year. These pose and stay skeletons are so fun and the kids love playing with them.
Creepy Crawlers
I saw these oversized spiders at a local specialty Halloween shop and thought “how fun are these”? I knew I had to use them somewhere and thought they would be a fun addition in our living room.
Pick Your Poison
And lastly, our bar area is a main focal point in our living room and is always a favorite to spookify during Halloween. I did something similar on last year’s Halloween Decor with the spider webs but this year I swapped in the BEWARE sign and added more crows.
And that’s how we do Halloween!!

Hi there!
I just found your blog last night and stayed up way too late reading past posts! I LOOOVE your taste! Was wondering where you got the huge skull next to your fireplace?
Thanks!
thanks love- its from a local shop here in OC let me see if i can track it down online xo
I have the same question (regarding the big skull with the flames in his mouth). Beautiful Halloween decor!
hi guys its from a local shop here in OC called Rogers Gardens –
I am obsessed with your gray and gold coasters. Do you happen to remember where you got them? I’ve been searching everywhere online for something similar.
The bats are Amazing! What kind of adhesive did you use? NERVOUS about putting ANYTHING that would damage fresh paint! Thank You!
I will say I did have to touch up a couple spots from the bats.
