Ava’s Tween Room Refresh

I can’t believe we designed Ava’s room over five years ago! Now that she is in the tween stage, she wanted to update a couple things in the room that she felt she’s outgrown. She’s definitely into the “preppy girl aesthetic” (as the kids call it these days) so here is quick and easy tween room refresh we did with some new pieces from Wayfair.

Wayfair has truly been our go to lately for all things home. They have the biggest selection so you can pretty much always find what you’re looking for and at the best price too. Ava really wanted to swap out her art above her wall so we opted for this fun and fresh abstract art piece and she absolutely loves it! She also really wanted a swivel chair. We loved this one so much for the @HBDesertcasa in white that when we saw it came in blush pink, we had to get it. Lastly we added in a few new fun pillows, task lamps and a new desk chair for her vanity area. We’re so happy with how this quick room refresh came together!

  1. Absolutely adorable and chic! So funny how the terminology changes- I’m 34, and when I was her age, preppy was very different: stripes, polka dots, kelly greens and navies, bows and gold accents, tennis and equestrian vibes. This is cuter! I need to get with the new lingo
