Being that we are in the midst of doing some upgrades to our place I am TRYING to be better with my shopping lately. That being said here are some of the MANY items just sitting in my shopping carts….

I posted my skinny jeans I’m always wearing and a distressed pair I’m thinking about getting as well! I’m still loving the whole peplum trend especially when its done in (faux) leather or lace!! How gorgeous is that beaded jacket?! Parker seriously makes the best beaded and sequin pieces!!

I’m still on the hunt for a great pointy toe pump. I tried on the Louboutin Pigalle when I was in New York a couple years ago. They were so sexy BUT felt like I would be walking like frankenstein in no time! (if you ladies have them be honest and let us know if they are bearable! ) The ones above are some other options I’m looking into. I’ve listed my all time favorite aviators by DITA (worth every penny) and my new Alexander Wang wallet. The other wallets were ones I was considering. Im all about the metal belt trend and LOVE this thin gold one! Hope you ladies are enjoying your week…its almost FRIDAY!!
Love everything in your carts!! The belt is so cute and such a fun way to liven up an outfit but I never know how to incorporate. What would you wear that belt with?
You can wear a metal belt with practically anything. I would wear it with plain solid dresses, sweaters, tops, or tunics! It's a very versatile accessory.
oooo love the leather peplum! i could totally seeing you wearing it for date night! i have the piggies and they are my favoriteeeee shoe. but, they are painful. they break in and get better, but idk if you`ll sacrifice especially when you`re with ava! they are super amazeballs sex on though! have you looked at the manolo bb? a lot of ladies get that one!
reading some of the comments..the height of the pigalle makes a huge difference! thought i`d add in that mine are in the 120mm height. (=
thanks LC! i LALALove them but hate paying louboutin money for shoes i won't be able to wear often so well see. Ive been thinking about them forever though!!
i went a whole size down and they stretched a ton if you do get them!
Loving all the choices! Do we get to see the house upgrades too?
I second this! You have fabulous home decorating skills Andee!
thanks ladies! I think ill be doing a post on them for you ladies xo
I have the Pigalle pumps. I love them, but I definitely cannot wear them if there is a lot of walking or standing involved. They are a dinner and drinks-only shoe for me. 😉
thanks Ashli so good to know as i had a feeling they would be that kind of a pump!
Love the Clare Vivier clutch…I keep debating on it. I love it, but I never even use the clutches I already own, so I am trying to restrain myself ;). That metal belt is amazing! xo
seriously! I have to talk myself out of so many things I want bc i never get to use them these days lol
cool Love the clothes

I think as long as you are buying only higher-end INVESTMENT pieces (i.e. the metal belt that looks amazing with everything or the black pumps), you will be ight girl! Then have fun with lower-end pieces from places like Forever21. That's called being Financially Chic 😉 lol.

Love the pics! What size do you wear in the Paige and the 7s? I'm about the same size as you, but I've never tried either on, and I would love to order a pair of each! I think that investing in good denim is always a great idea 🙂
I purchased the 26 and they fit great but found them to get a tad loose after wearing them so when i purchased them in black i went with the 25. Hope this helps xo
that was for the Paige… In 7's I usually go for a 25 bc they tend to allllways stretch a bit
I have the Zara Methacrylate pointy toe heel and they are amazing!!!
I must have missed those are they still available on the site?!
They are only for looking at! So beautiful but really unbearable to walk in! Wore mine to church and swore because they were killing me! Lol
lol I think so too!
I have the Pigalle…love how sexy they are, but to be honest they kill me…although I do walk more in NYC than in LA but they are pretty brutal…also had to get them in a half size smaller so that there is no space in the back…hope that helps…love the Jimmy choo's too, but don't know how they fit or feel. xoxo
girl i should have known to ask you!!! Yes i was wondering about the sizing down as well bc those shoes can slip off easily. Thanks love!
I have the Pigalle – it was painful the first time I wore them but was fine the 2nd time around and after. I live in London so there's plenty of walking (cobblestones, uneven roads). I've got to say I was quite surprised they were comfortable (to be fair, after the first wear) – I held off buying a pair because of all the reviews. One thing that makes a huge difference is the heel. I went for the Pigalle 85 pumps (3.5) instead of the 100 pumps. I actually found the Jimmy Choo pumps quite uncomfortable (due to the height) and ended up selling them. Hope this helps! x
oh thanks so much for the tip love… i was just looking at the jimmy choo pair!
I love that faux leather peplum top and might just have to purchase it. To be honest, I was really hesitant about the whole peplum trend, but I think this would look really classic and it seems like it would be easy to dress up/dress down. Thanks for the inspiration lady!
i totally agree… i was little hesitant with the trend at first as well but the key is to find a flattering fitting one!
Your style is superb and your attitude contagious. Thank you for writing a blog I want to read – I look forward to your posts.
awww thanks so much Tami that is so nice! xo
I have the Pigalle – they are beautiful and I get compliments all time on them – but they are so uncomfortable! I only wear them to dinner or out for drinks. I've found that Prada shoes are the most comfortable. I literally can wear them for hours and my feet do not hurt at all!
thanks so much kelly this was really helpful..ill def look into the prada pair!
They have really pretty peplum shirts for affordable prices in all different colors at Target. I love that look too.

have to love Tarjayyyy 😉
Great picks Andee. I have the Pigalle and the Creve Coeur and I find Pigalle to be tougher on my feet. Laboutin makes gorgeous shoes but IMO best for sitting around at dinner or something haha! I hear YSL pumps are much more comfortable. I rarely ever make splurges like that but next time I do that's what I'll pick 😀
I have yet to find skinny jeans I love. I think I have an anti jean shape in general lol! Same with the peplum…gorgeous trend on most ppl, disaster on big hip/big boobs 🙁
good call i totally have those shoes that are "just for dinner and drinks" where a lot of walking wont be involved lol thanks for the tips love greatly appreciated!
Funny I have that same peplum top at forever21 in my cart and those 7's at shopbop. All very cute choices. I really like the For Love and Lemons tanks. For tops like that do you go braless, backless bra, tape,….? I can do deep v's in the front braless but with an open back and "normal" front sometimes I have a hard time looking good in the front– if that makes any sense! Just curious if anyone has any good suggestions because those tops are cute!
thanks Kelly… with the plunging necklace and low cut top i usually just use those little stick on pasties. I unfortunately don't need a whole lot of support in the boobage department so those usually do the trick! Hope this helps!
Ahh your blog can be trouble for me! I just went to Revolve Clothing and bought that black Veranda Tank 😀 Thanks for the post! Wearing it in Riviera Maya in 4 wks
I own these pointy toe pumps…Rachel Roy Gardner #3813040321060 (get them at piperlime!) and they are the best! I also own the CL ones and they are only good for one night at dinner. CL's in general are a one night type of shoe, I find. I hope this helps!
http://www.wantworthy.com is a online shopping list 🙂 its still quite new and is being updated regularly but it works like a charm for wishlisting
