24 Hours in Palm Springs (Kid-Free!)

If you follow along with me over on insta (@andeelayne) you probably saw that the hubby and I did a much needed (kid-free!) 24 hours in Palm Springs last weekend (insert Oprah emoji with the hands up and screaming yeahhhhh!!). We recently celebrated our 11 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY (what?!) so we booked a night at my favorite place to stay when we aren’t with the kids.

It’s safe to say we’re no strangers to Palm Springs. If you search Palm Springs in the tab at the top right of my site about a million and one posts will come up. 😉  We’ve actually been looking for investment properties out there too because we come to the desert so often but until then, I will keep sharing our favorites with you. L’Horizon opened about 5 years ago and immediately was on my list to try. Unfortunately the opportunities to go were few and far between because it’s an adult-only hotel and we rarely leave our kids home. We actually still have never done more than 24hrs away from them and we’re both good with that buttttt I think it goes without saying that we were beyond excited when we got to just hang by the pool and relaxxxx. I stayed at this property a couple years back for a work trip but was so excited for my hubby to finally get to check it out too. Needless to say, he loves it just as much as I do!

This hotel feels like a best-kept secret that’s tucked away slightly off the main strip. It’s a relatively smaller property with that old Palm Springs charm and elevated chic decor. The vibe is chill but still lively and cool. The food and service were great and I just can’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a chillllll weekend where you can just unwind and relax. It’s not a party hotel or somewhere I would recommend if you’re ready to party but definitely recommend for a chill girls weekend in Palm Springs or a getaway with your significant other!
