If you follow along on instagram, you probably saw we snuck away on a snowy getaway last week. We decided to switch things up and do Christmas in Jackson Hole this year and you guys, it was MAGICAL! My DM’s were filled with tons of questions so sharing my quick Jackson Hole travel guide with you all today!
Where to Stay
The Four Seasons
We’ve only stayed at the Four Seasons when we’ve gone. It’s charming and you can’t beat the location!
Hotel Terra
also has a great location and is right across from the Four Seasons. I’ve only been in the lobby but it looked really cute too.
Cloudveil
If you want to stay in town, this one is located right in the village square, walking distance to everything.
Amangani
Amangani is always on my list but feel like it’s not as kid friendly so we always end up booking the Four Seasons. Next time I would love to even pop over for a drink and take in the views!
Where to Eat/Drink
Ascent Lounge
We ate here for lunch several times. It’s in the Four Seasons and the Elk Chili is a MUST!
The Handle Bar
We always love the food and decor here! The fire pit tables on the Handle Bar patio are perfect for a little Apres Ski photo op!
Snake River Grill
For dinner! Make sure you make a reservation in advance as they book out.
Persephone Bakery
Great for breakfast, lunch, coffee and pastries!
Annies Thai Kitchen
this spot is still on my to try list! Several people recommended it especially if you want to order in.
The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and the Fahrenheit Moet Bubbly Tent!
You definitely have to grab a drink at the Iconic Million Dollar Cowboy Bar or pop some bubbly in the Fahrenheit bubbly tent .
What to Do
Ski!!
Several of you asked about skiing here if you’re a beginner and you definitely can!
National Elk Refuge
(make sure to check the weather! If you saw my insta stories…you know lol)
Dog Sledding
This was so special and the kids LOVED it! We did This Tour (which was walking distance from the Four Seasons)
Snow Tubing
We haven’t done this in Jackson but we always do it when we go to Utah and it’s SO fun! Several people recommended this Snow Tubing spot.
Teton Square
You have to cruise around the charming Teton Square! The kids loved going to Lee’s Tee’s because they have an epic toy store on the bottom level. We also heard Moo’s ice cream is the sweet spot to try.
Make a Custom Hat
I was definitely feeling the whole Wyoming vibe (and especially after watching Yellowstone ;). I have always wanted to design a custom hat and made one right in the village at Beaver Creek Hats and Leather.
What to Wear
I hope this run down was helpful for you all. If I missed something feel free to drop your questions below and I’ll try to answer them!
