Alright my loves, I’m excited to bring you girls another #TheHBDesertCasa post today!! I already shared a look into the Palm Springs living room and have given sneak peeks on the newsletter and IG, but today I’m sharing the full reveal of our Guest Bathroom!
I promised the hubby that this was a quick ‘facelift’ remodel which ended up turning into knocking down walls anddd a lot more than originally planned BUT I did try to keep the changes minimal where I could. 😉 I tried to scale back where I could to help balance out the costs, and the guest bath was one of those spaces. The material wasn’t bad enough IMO to do a full renovation here so I swapped out a couple things and think it made a big difference. I went with small changes that would make a big improvement and love how it came out! It feels very clean, bright, and simple but with a Mid Century touch that is used throughout the house.
BEFORE
I didn’t mind the white backsplash, bath, and mirror, so we kept those items. But really wanted to make this space feel more updated and bright. After running into a hiccup with construction in the kitchen we ended up needing to replace the flooring throughout the house (not mad at that ;). We added the new flooring in the bathroom, updated the vanity sink and swapped out some fixtures for a quick facelift in the guest bathroom.
AFTER
We used this Single Sink Vanity with brass finishes that I think came out beautifully! We went with a lot of walnut wood in this house to go with the Mid Century vibes. I finished off the vanity area with a much needed new Glass & Brass Sconce.
Absolutely LOVE the Brushed Gold Shower Faucet and Accessories to add warmth and a little vintage vibe to the space.
Since it’s mainly a rental property, I wanted to add a lux touch with hanging these Waffle Knit Bathrobes from the new brushed gold coat hooks (an easy but noticeable upgrade).
Thought it would be a good use of money to spruce up the walls with this wallpaper . The bathroom is a bit on the smaller side so I didn’t want to overwhelm the space with a super bold print. I went with a more subtle geometric print and think it added the perfect finishing touch.
and for the small touches of the bathroom, I added a nice hand soap, a pretty candle, and a faux plant that finished things off well I think! I also added this lush (but budget-friendly) bath mat. Btw, you can see the other household essentials I added around the house for guests in this blog post if you girls are interested.
Which room do you girls want to see next from #TheHBDesertCasa?!
