Unless you girls are new around here, you know I’m allll about that hat life aka ‘dirty hair mama life’ ;). I’ve loved sporting a hat since forever and think they happen to be such a chic way to style up an outfit and save you time if your hair isn’t working. Whether home in the OC or on vacay, you can usually find me in one brand: Janessa Leone. I’ve been buying her hats for at least 6 years now! and they’re hands-down the BEST quality and she always has amazingly beautiful styles. Since they are a bit of a splurge, I like buying neutral staples that are super versatile (which most of hers are anyways). So let’s dive into some of my favorite wide-brim hats (and I have a discount code for you girls too!)
Now that I’m in my thirties, skincare is a top priority so wide brims in the warmer months when we’re in the sun more are a MUST! They’re practical, cute and versatile. I love that they can be worn with daytime dresses and also casually with jeans a tee.
Summer Styles
I’ve been wearing this hat for literally 6 years! It’s such a classic style and the quality is amazing!
This White Hat was a new purchase this year and probably my most asked about style! The fit and style are perf! It sold out fast but This Hat is basically the same style (minus the tie). I wear a size medium in JL hats.
Fall and Winter Favorites
In the Fall and Winter, her wool options are equally as gorgeous!

Budget-Friendly Picks
While I feel like her hats are 100% worth the investment there are a couple other brands that I like too that are a little more affordable. Brixton and Lack of Coloraus make similar for less and I also just came across this line at Nordstrom that I wanted to review as well because the styles and price points look pretty good.
(I’ve been recommending this budget-friendly one for years!)
Awhile back Janessa Leone gave me a discount code for my readers on her website so thought I would share again…
you can use code ANDEELAYNE10 for 10% OFF the Janessa Leone website!
Have you girls worn any of these brands before?!
