Happy Friday ladies! It’s rainy and storming here today so we are all cozied up in our sweatpants and having hot chocolates with the littles. We’re staying in tonight so I wanted to get this Friday Casual post up for you girls. You all know I am a huge fan of great basics mixed in a with few statement pieces. For everyday wear I gravitate towards effortless looks that don’t require a whole lot of fuss and i’m OBSESSED with this short sleeve sweatshirt I bought recently.
It’s the perfect cozy and cute basic that i’ve already worn multiple times since buying it a couple weeks ago. I paired it with my worn to death skinnies (now on SALE), killer wide brim hat and my favorite ankle booties for an no fuss friday look.

I went with an easy daytime eye with This Shadow in All That Glitters all over the lid and This Shadow in Saddle in the crease // This Lipstick (Velvet Teddy)// This lipLiner (stripdown) // This Highlighter /Bronzer Combo is my JAM! It’s pricey but it lasts forever and the highlighter is my favorite.
I am absolutely OBSESSED with This Short Sleeve Sweatshirt! It’s oversized and super comfy! I’m wearing it in a size Small here and actually just ordered it in an XS in the Gray HERE.
And wide brim hats are a definitely a staple in my wardrobe. I would blame it on mom life with the unwashed hair but honestly I was rocking them pre kids too because they’re just so easy to throw on and go when you don’t have time to do your hair. Janessa Leone are my absolute favorites. They’re not budget friendly by any means but the quality and longevity are worth the money in my opinion. Here are a few more of my favorites….

Did you lighten your hair? I have very dark hair too and usually like it dark, dark, dark! But the warmer highlights in yours are lovely! They seem to be lighter than usual. Also, I have followed your blog since before you had kiddos – and this is my first comment – on any blog, ever. 😉
Hi Shaunie 😉 First thank you for following along over the years (it’s always so nice to hear that) and second thank you for taking the time to comment! Yes I did finally lighten my hair. It is still a work in progress so I haven’t done a full hair update for you girls yet but I am really loving the change so far! I have one more trip to the salon and then hopefully we will get it to where I want it and ill share better pics with you girls xo
