Summer to Fall // Transitional Tops

Helllllo beauties! I know we are far from Fall here in SoCal buttttt I have to say I swear I already felt the weather change a bit these past couple weeks! Am I crazy or did you girls feel the slight chill in the mornings and evenings too?! Maybe it’s wishful thinking but either way i’m so excited for the change. I know my mid west and east coast babes will be feeling it a lot sooner than us so today i’m sharing some fun tops that you can wear now (finishing out the last few weeks of Summer) and also transition them into the Fall and Winter! I scooped up a few of these from Nordstrom last week. They have so many quality, on trend basics right now including this fun bell sleeve top I had to have…

I actually didn’t realize this top was so cropped when I purchased it but am really LOVING it! It’s super comfy and i’ll definitely wear it with my HIGH WAIST DENIM too. For this playful look, I paired it with some relaxed boyfriend jeans and THESE LACE UP SANDALS i’ve been wearing a lot lately.

There are so many great tops that can be worn now and also as layering pieces for Fall and Winter. That Chambray top could be worn wrapped around your waist in those Summer Dresses or with your white on white outfits  and it could also be paired with some fun flares or dark wash skinnies for a little denim on denim action in the Fall. I’m so into lace up shirts right now. They just add a little something fun and different to your standard basic. THIS ONE is in my cart. I posted on THIS TEE last week and it’s beyond comfy! I’ve been living in it lately and I’m sure  it will a staple underneath my duster cardigans in the coming months.
