Good Morning lovelies! I am having some major vacay withdrawals as I’m finishing up my post this morning. You girls probably saw we went to the Cayman Islands a couple weeks ago and it’s nothing short of amazing every time we go there. We are lucky enough to go about once a year because my in laws live there but this trip was super special for me because I brought my family down from the east coast to experience the amazingness of it all! It was so much fun having my nieces and nephews there and watching the cousins all play together 😉 I shared SO much of this beautiful place on my SnapChat (AndeeLayne) but here is a little recap (and serious photo over load) from our trip!
We stayed at the beautiful Ritz Carlton right on 7 Mile Beach! The location is the absolute best and the staff is always so helpful and accommodating. As soon as we arrived to the resort we were greated with cocktails at check in! (which were VERY much appreciated after the 5 hour flight with Luca;) Once we reached the room they had little goodie bags for the kids with some bath toys, diapers and toiletries we would need during our stay and lets just say our room view did not disappoint! If you girls are planning a trip to Cayman this is definitely our favorite hotel!
Our Daily Spot!
The grounds of the resort are so beautiful. We literally spent our whole stay just going back and forth from the beach, to the pool and to the newly added Splash Pad (that the kids were obsessed with!)
I could eat this girl up I love her so!
Pom Pom Twin for the win 😉
This water is unreal!
We came to Cayman a few days early so when the rest of family all joined us, we switched over to one of the three bedroom residences at The Ritz.
I’m so glad we did because it was SO nice to be able to all hangout and catch up after the kids were asleep. Not to mention having our own kitchen was a huge help!
One of the nights we snuck in a quick island date night and I got to break out This Cute Mini Dress! I paired it with my (budget friendly) Turquoise Tassel Earrings , go to nude wedges (on SALE) and a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc ;))))
If you want fine dining on the island, SEVEN restaurant at the Ritz is PHENOMENAL! We also had dinner at DECKERS (another one of our favorites right down the street).
If you’re traveling to Cayman a trip to Sting Ray City is an absolute must! We had quite a large group so I charted a boat this trip to take my family to some of the best spots on the island. We used Cayman Yacht Charters but they also but they also have tons of group tours as well you can book through the hotel.
I was totally prepared to just stay on the boat with Ava while everyone else swam with the sting rays and was totally surprised when she wanted to get in with them too!
How awesome is this?!!
After we finished at Sting Ray city we headed over to Starfish Beach. You guys this place was HEAVEN! It’s such a quiet, relaxing spot and filled with so many beautiful starfish you can pick up!
My little Starfish
(Her Fringe Bikini available HERE)
A lot of you were asking about MY BIKINI on instagram and I am obsessed with it! Being small busted I am all for anything with ruffles, fringe or ruching to help a girl out in the chest department 😉 It also has the cutest ruffle detail on the back of the bottoms too! My bracelets available HERE and Wide Brim Hat HERE)
and the boat dropped us off at one last stop before we headed back!
Now out of all the times we have been to Cayman we have never been to Kaibo! It’s on the other side of the island closer to Rum Point (a more touristy spot) and it was so awesome. It was definitely a locals hangout and we had the most perfect afternoon there with my family!
I could have stayed here all day!
Docked…but not quite ready to get off the boat yet 😉
On our the last day we made at stop at Ava’s favorite place, the Turtle Farm. If you have little ones I would definitely making a trip there. Ava always loves it and they have a small section where the kids can swim with the turtles too 😉
Rare are the days I get a pic with this babe anymore! We are in full BOY MODE right now but I can see we are entering into my favorite stage! I know everyone always says terrible two’s but for us with Ava 2-2.5 was my favorite stage! Luca is totally developing this fun little personality and is so silly and sweet(…and bad but so darn cute :)! So I’m really loving this little stage with him. (Now three…..that was a whole other story! The threenager stage was quite the handful with Ava, so we’ll see how it goes with Luca)
Island Life Attire

What kind of sunscreen do you use for yourself? How do you keep from looking like a greasy hot mess on the beach?! I always do, unfortunately!
Hi babe We use Sun Bum SPF 30
Thank you! I will definitely have to try that brand! Your photos are beautiful, by the way; Cayman looks like another world! I LOVE the beach, but I burn super quick and have to drown myself in lotion, lol.

This looks absolutely heavenly! I'd absolutely love to take a family trip here. Maybe someday!
thanks babe!
This post makes me want to go back this summer! Loved reading your experiences. My family goes every other year and I've never heard of Kaibo, but we go to Rum Point. Something new to try 🙂
right?! We have been going there for almost 10 years now and I had never been to Kaibo. I'd definitely recommend checking it out next time you're out near Rum Point xo
Pics look great. What underwater camera did you or use?
thanks babe! You know it wasn't my camera…the staff who chartered the yacht also did the under water photography for us as a part of the package.

Which color is your Nordstrom coverup? They have a burgundy one and a black and white one, but yours doesn't really look like either color to me or maybe it just looks different IRL? Thanks!!
I think this post answers my questions 😉 I searched and found the other blog post first xox
yes your kiddos will love it xo
Did you happen to take Luca to Sting Ray City & Starfish Beach? We are going to the Grand Cayman later this summer with my almost 2 year old son. Hoping to find out if these areas are toddler friendly?
Hi love you know my hubby stayed home with him as he was too small for those activities and the sting rays would probably be a little scary for him. Definitely look into the little turtle farm. The little kids like that place xo
