Alright ladies, I can’t tell you all how excited I am to finally be sharing our first Honeybee Home // New Build update with you all! It feels like such a long time coming but now that we are well on our way we’re beyond excited to share this whole process with you gals!
For those of you who don’t know, we are building a new home (still in OC!). We started this process a couple years ago and I have to say the hunt for the perfect spot was definitely a journey. We originally weren’t looking to build from the ground up but after almost a year of ups and downs with bidding wars and just struggling to find the right spot, we had basically given up. About a month later my girlfriend emailed me a listing and we immediately fell in love with the place. It was smaller than we had hoped but I was convinced I could make it work (even though my hubby was NOT so convinced I could get rid of all my “things” lol). Long story short we didn’t end up getting that house either (insert eye roll emoji) but it ended up being a blessing in disguise because it lead us to our architect who we fell in love with his work. So about a year ago we found the perfect location, bought a tear down and started drawing up plans. We broke ground earlier this year and things have been moving along quickly….
So excited for this formal dining room with a faux fire place!
Full Breakfast Booth in the works!
I can’t wait to post more progress with you girls and feel free to share any advice or tips you all have as well! I have been sharing a lot of randomness my insta stories and always appreciate all the DM’s and comments from you girls over the past couple months. Some of you were even so sweet to share some of your own home pics with me too! Seriously love you girls! I plan on sharing all of my home inspo with you girls on the next Honeybee Home post but you can check some of them out now on My Pinterest (@andeelayne). I am forever pinning new stuff! xo

Gorgeous! I swoon for all that double volume 🙂 so exciting to follow along the journey.
